Are you ready for chocolate school?

Blue Bandana Chocolate Maker, the artisanal chocolate company launched this year by Eric Lampman, son of Lake Champlain Chocolates founder Jim Lampman, is offering an insight Saturday into how the new chocolate bars — roughly the size and shape of those old computer floppy disks — are made.

Lampman and representatives from Slow Food Vermont will be at Lake Champlain Chocolates’ factory and retail store on Pine Street in Burlington from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, grinding cocoa beans for taste tests and offering free samples of the finished product.
