Cargill Inc. : Cargill’s new Managing Director Cocoa focuses on innovation and customer service
November 13, 2012
Philippe Huet has been appointed as the new Managing Director Cocoa for Cargill’s cocoa & chocolate business.
Huet takes over from Harold Poelma, who made a major contribution to developing the company’s innovation and sustainability programme and has taken up a new challenge – as Managing Director of Cargill Refined Oils Europe.
Commenting on his appointment Huet said: “I am very much looking forward to my new role. Focusing on our customers will be a particular priority for me, ensuring that we provide them with the best possible service, and with the support necessary for them to develop innovative solutions for their businesses.
“We will continue building on the work of my predecessor in the area of sustainability. Our leadership in sustainable cocoa is now well established, and we have dedicated teams in place to support and further develop our strategy to secure the long term sustainability of cocoa production.”
