Anna Laven

Anna Laven is the founder of Rokit Science and Associate of KIT Royal Tropical Institute. As independent researcher, advisor and entrepreneur she is committed to contribute to sustainable cocoa and chocolate. Anna holds a PhD in International Development Studies and is an internationally renowned cocoa expert. Over the last ~20 years she has gained expertise in analyzing the cocoa value chain from different angles: from gender and child well-being to value addition, living income, farmer segmentation and price formation. Recently she joined the management team of Chocoa and she is the Head of the Board of the Chocolonely Foundation.
