Technical Secretary, Public-Private Partnership Platform, Conseil du Café-Cacao
Mr. Benjamin Emmanuel Walker is Technical Secretary of the public-private partnership platform of the Coffee-Cocoa sector managed by the Conseil du Café-Cacao ((PPPP) since July 2018. He is also Consultant in charge of the national coordination of the International Trade Center (ITC) activities since 2015.
Prior to that, Mr. Walker was a consultant in charge of coordinating the Agricultural Sector Support Program - Cocoa component, and of the public-private partnership platform within the coffee and cocoa sector managed by the Conseil du Café-Cacao from 2015 to 2018. He was also National Coordinator of the Trade and Regional Integration Support Program from 2012 to 2015.
From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Walker was the Poverty Reduction Pilot Program Coordinator in the Bas Sassandra - San Pedro region for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Côte d'Ivoire.
Other roles have included working as Head of Planning, Training, and Monitoring-Evaluation at for the Projet National de Gestion des Terroirs et d’Equipement Rural (PNGTER) in the Office of the Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire in Abidjan, Head of Studies and Monitoring-Evaluation at the Bureau National d’Etudes Techniques et de Développement (BNETD) in the office of the Presidency of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire in Abidjan, and Specialist in Farming Economics for Agence Nationale d'Appui au Développement Rural (ANADER ) in Korhogo.
Mr. Walker is an Agro-Economist Engineer and holds an MBA.
