Leigh Horner is Vice President, Global Sustainability & Corporate Communications, for The Hershey Company. Leigh is responsible for advancing Hershey’s global reputation through proactive external and internal communications, innovative community engagement, and globally responsible citizenship. Leigh has more than 25 years of experience across a full spectrum of business and policy communications and sustainability, including as a strategic advisor and corporate counselor managing reputation, public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, government affairs, ESG leadership and community relations.
Prior to joining Hershey, she spent 13 years in corporate communications at Sprint Nextel focusing on mergers and acquisition, national media relations and public policy. Leigh started her career in Washington, D.C., where she served as a Congressional legislative associate before transitioning to the private sector. Leigh holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. She serves on the International Food Information Council’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Leigh is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and is a board director for WITF in Harrisburg, Pa.
