Vice President, Conservation International Brazil (CI-Brazil)
In his role at Conservation International, Mauricio identifies opportunities and emerging trends to drive positive impacts for both people and the environment in Brazil. His work focuses on nature-based solutions to climate change, sustainable development, and strategic partnerships. Before joining CI-Brazil, Mauricio spent over two years at ChildFund's national office in Brazil, where he led communications and fundraising efforts. Prior to that, he dedicated more than 12 years to TIM, a leading telecom operator in Brazil, serving as Corporate Affairs Manager.
Mauricio holds a degree in Hotel Management and Tourism from the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS). He further specialized in Strategic Management and Marketing at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and completed the Executives Development Program at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
