Aldo is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Amazonia Impact Ventures, an impact investment firm headquartered in London with operations across Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. Amazonia provides innovative impact financing to sustainable businesses and smallholder farmers' organisations, with a mission to conserve and regenerate forests and biodiversity while improving the livelihoods of indigenous peoples and local communities.
With over 15 years of experience in the Amazon, Aldo has led transformative conservation initiatives and climate-smart agriculture programs. He has been instrumental in designing innovative financial instruments and working alongside rural businesses, indigenous communities, and local governments to advance environmental standards and public policies that promote the sustainable development of the Amazon region.
