Bernard Kramer

Bernard M. Kramer, CPA, CGMA -  Bernard (“Bert”) serves as the Finance Director and is responsible for leading all financial matters of the organization.  Leading a team of four across WCF offices worldwide, Bert's responsibilities range from Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Audit, Compliance Reporting, Contracting, and System Development and design.  Bert also supports the HR, IT, and administrative functions.  With 12-plus years of experience in non-profit organizations, Bert has come to understand the systems necessary to support organizational growth.

Before joining the World Cocoa Foundation, Bert served as Controller and Sr Consultant to the CFO of Goodwill Industries International, Inc., a social enterprise engaged in job training and placement for those underserved within local communities.  Bert graduated from George Washington University in Washington DC with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting; he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Charted Global Management Accountant. Bert is a member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs.

When not working, Bert enjoys spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, building Lego‘s and watching his favorite Baseball team.
