Deputy CEO, COCOBOD
Dr. James Kofi Kutsoati is a highly experienced logistics, marketing, supply chain and procurement expert, with extensive managerial and leadership experience in Ghana's cocoa sector. He currently serves as a management consultant, advising both local and multinational corporations involved in soft commodity production and processing. From being a Research Officer to Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Operations) at the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), Dr. Kutsoati has held significant leadership positions throughout his career.
He has chaired several key committees, including the Certified Cocoa Foundations, the Producer Price Review Technical Committee, and the Seed Fund Committee at COCOBOD. Additionally, he has supervised the operations of the Cocoa Marketing Company Ltd both locally and in the United Kingdom. Dr. Kutsoati's experience also includes serving on the Consultative Board of the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO). He holds a PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, an MBA, and a BA in Economics and Geography from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Policy and Project Planning from the Institute of Social Studies, The Netherlands
