Vice President of Sustainability, Cargill Food
As Vice President of Sustainability for Cargill’s global Food businesses, Eliza is responsible for supporting customers in achieving their sustainability goals while driving progress against Cargill’s ESG targets. Eliza has nearly 20 years of experience in the sustainability field and is passionate about the intersection of environmental and social issues. She brings a broad range of experiences spanning product, operational and supply chain sustainability, public affairs and strategic communications.
Previously, Eliza served as Enterprise Sustainability Lead for Cargill Protein and Salt businesses, and Global ESG Reporting Lead, where she was responsible for expanding transparency and governance of Cargill’s ESG policies, programs, and performance across the company’s global value chain. In prior companies, Eliza has led sustainability, environmental compliance and corporate responsibility functions.
Eliza received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. She lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota with her husband and three young children. When not at work, you can find her running, doing yoga and attending a wide variety of youth sporting events.
