                Fernand leads CIGN (the Ivorian national mapping agency) at BNETD, piloting the national land use land cover mapping and satellite-based forest monitoring systems. He is a senior geospatial leader with more than twenty years of experience mobilizing governments and institutions to leverage geospatial technology for sustainable development. He is currently advising the Ivorian government on readiness for the EU Regulation on Deforestation-Free Products (EUDR). Combining technical expertise and strategic vision, Fernand is an ENSG-Paris engineer with a Master's in Spatial Data Analysis from Sorbonne University and executive training from IESE Business School Barcelona.
