Mr. Florent Clair is a French Tropical Agronomist Engineer with a master’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility. Based in Abidjan, he has worked in West Africa for the last 10 years on the structuration of sustainable agriculture supply chains, in particular for the cocoa sector. He joined UPL in 2016 where he developed an integrated offer of products and services to support the implementation of food chains sustainable agendas in the region. His current role is to strengthen partnerships with external development organizations in order to positively impact a larger number of smallholder farmers and introduce innovative and more sustainable technologies in the African food chains.
