Matthias Lange is the Executive Director of the International Cocoa Initiative, a role he has held since 2022, previously occupying the role of Director of Operations and Strategy for the organisation. Prior to joining ICI in 2012, Matthias spent ten years working in West Africa and at the headquarters of the French Development Ministry and the European Commission, where he managed international development and humanitarian aid programmes focused on food security and nutrition.
