Norma Tregurtha is the Director of Engagement and Markets at Bonsucro – the global sustainability platform and standard for sugarcane production. Norma’s role is focused on increasing the demand for Bonsucro certified sugarcane products, strengthening the organisation’s profile and expanding its member-base.
Before joining Bonsucro in June 2022, Norma was the Director of Policy and Partnerships at ISEAL where for more than 10 years she helped business leaders, policy makers and civil society organisations understand how they can use standards and certification to build sustainable supply chains.
Norma has a background in agricultural development and smallholder livelihoods, and has a master's degree in economics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
