Social Development Associate, World Cocoa Foundation
Priscilla Sogah serves as Social Development Associate at the World Cocoa Foundation. Priscilla brings strong technical and professional experience in community mobilization and development, gender integration, income generation and financial inclusion, resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, development planning and communication to support the coordination of WCF’s social development activities. These activities are related to community inclusion and mobilization, gender integration, child labor elimination, additional and enhanced income generation through VSLA, education, nutrition, and mapping of internal capacity and cultivating new partnerships.
Priscilla brings nearly seven years of experience in journalism, development communication, and community mobilization within the cocoa sector in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
Before joining WCF, Priscilla was media officer on Cargill and General Mills-funded projects in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire at CARE International in Ghana. Priscilla holds a BA in Communications Studies with specialization in Journalism. She is currently pursuing her Msc in Development Policy and Planning with specialization in social policy planning at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
