Roberto Lessa holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master in Business Management from FGV. Beside that he has additional qualifications like MBA from the Ohio School of Economics and Business, an MBA CEO FGV, and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
With over 30 years of experience as a senior executive, Roberto has held leadership roles such as Investment Director, President of Agro-industries, and Global CEO across the USA, Europe, Brazil, and China. He has also served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and received awards from the United Nations (UN) and the Organization of American States (OAS) for high-impact socioeconomic projects.
Currently, Roberto leads his holding company, which operates in agriculture, trade, export, and consultancy for agricultural and agro-industrial projects. He is also the owner of the Vila Opa Cocoa Farm in Bahia, where he integrates modern management models, mechanization, automation, and IoT technologies to maximise productivity and efficiency.
