Restoration Strategy Deputy Manager, Brazil Program, The Nature Conservancy
Rodrigo Freire is Brazil´s Restoration Strategy Deputy Manager. For more than 12 years he has been working to protect the Amazon Rainforest, mainly on rural sustainable development, forest conservation and restoration, agroforestry-systems, socio-biodiversity supply chain strengthening and mitigating climate change agendas. Previous to The Nature Conservancy Rodrigo worked as consultant to the Museum of the Amazon (MUSA) and was the head of the Forest and Environmental Services Department of the Climate Change center inside the Amazonas State Environmental Agency. He is a Biologist by São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a master in Zoology by UNDESP Rio Claro.
