Silvino graduated as an Agronomic Engineer from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) - 1990. He specializes in pasture management from the University of Animal Science of Uberaba (FAZU) - 2010. Between 1990 and 2010, he worked as an agronomist for several agricultural companies in the states of Bahia and Pará, Brazil. Since 2010, he has served as a consultant specializing in cacao cultivation across the states of Bahia, Pará, Tocantins, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, and Ceará (Brazil) with additional expertise in Conilon/Robusta coffee and rubber tree cultivation. In 2012, he expanded his consultancy to Central America, undertaking projects in Guatemala, Panama, and Mexico. In 2020, he founded SKAgro Agribusiness Consulting, which nowadays oversees over 10,000 hectares of cacao cultivation in Brazil and Central America.
