Gycs Gordon

Gycs Gordon is Director of PROMPERÚ for the Benelux and Nordic regions, where he leads the promotion of Peruvian trade, investment and country brand positioning across Northern Europe. He works closely with industry partners, governments and buyers to strengthen market access and visibility for high-value Peruvian products, including fine-flavour cocoa.

Mr . Gordon brings extensive experience in international trade promotion, having previously led PROMPERÚ offices in Hamburg and Taipei, where he supported exporters and built strategic partnerships with the private sector. Earlier in his career, he developed development cooperation projects in Peru with GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). He studied Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master’s degree from Universität Mannheim. He speaks English, German and Spanish and has contributed to connecting Peruvian producers with global markets, expanding opportunities for sustainable value chains in commodities such as cocoa and coffee.
