Hugh C.A. Brown

Dr. Hugh Brown is a distinguished forester and sustainability expert with over three decades of experience in tropical forest management, ecological restoration and institutional stewardship. As Chief Executive, he provides strategic direction to the Forestry Commission (FC).

Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive, he held various leadership roles at FC, including Executive Director of the Forest Services Division (FSD), where his leadership was crucial in shaping national reforestation policies and forest conservation strategies.
