Coordinator and Project Lead, Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets
Joris Ruigewaard is coordinator and project lead for sustainability supervision at the Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM). With a background in European and Dutch competition law, consumer protection and regulated markets, he contributes to ACM’s work on sustainability enforcement and the implementation of emerging EU frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Before joining ACM, Joris worked in private practice advising on competition and regulatory matters. He brings a pragmatic, cross-disciplinary approach to translating complex legal obligations into workable standards that support responsible and sustainable business practices.
