Matt Silveira

Matt Silveira is an Associate Director of Sustainability Services at Winrock International. He leads the Winrock team responsible for validating GHG emissions reduction and removal projects, including our work with Nestlé's global supply chain, and nature and materiality services for corporate clients. He is a corporate sustainability leader with more than 15 years of experience in environmental impact, climate action and sustainability strategies across the industrial, mining and agriculture sectors. Prior to joining Winrock, he helped build successful sustainability programs for Cemex USA and The Hershey Company. Matt’s expertise includes climate resiliency, carbon accounting, biodiversity, and strategic alignment of these topics to enhance sustainability outcomes for diverse stakeholders.

Matt holds a Master of Environmental, Safety, and Health Management from The University of Findlay (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an Environmental Emphasis from Cedarville University (2009).
