Nicolas Poolen

Nicolas Poolen holds dual positions as Senior Manager, Nature in Transition Planning at the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), and Senior Manager, Nature Positive Finance at WWF International. At TNFD, he is responsible for creating and testing guidance on integrating nature into corporate and financial sector transition planning. At WWF, he manages a workstream dedicated to embedding nature into financial decision-making, collaborating with institutions such as the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FMO, Rabobank, the Global Impact Investing Network, and TNFD. Prior to joining WWF, he worked with Follow This, a movement of activist shareholders in the oil and gas industry. He holds a background in business and sustainability.
