Tilmann Silber

Tilmann Silber is Head of Net Zero at Barry Callebaut, where he oversees the company's strategy, customer engagement and reporting towards a decarbonised cocoa and chocolate industry. He closely contributed to the WCF's GHG accounting framework for cocoa. After 15 years experience in climate and nature strategies in various organisations, he has a deep familiarity with relevant frameworks and is a recognised thought leader in the field. Next to his role at Barry Callebaut, he leads the Insetting Academy at the International Platform for Insetting (IPI), which provides training for practioniers in the field of low carbon agricultural supply chains. His academic track record includes ETH Zurich, St. Gallen University, University of Edinburgh and University of Cambridge.
