Finance Operations Associate, World Cocoa Foundation
EMMANUEL AKORLI serves as Finance Operations Associate at the World Cocoa Foundation, Accra-Ghana responsible for Finance and Operations activities, broad range of assigned financial functions including managing accounting duties and providing financial expertise, participate in discussions and decision-making related to budgeting, and other financial matters. By staying well-informed of historical trends and current economic activities, he liaises with other stakeholders to ensure all financial and accounting activities conforms with the Laws of Ghana.
Emmanuel previously interned with World Cocoa Foundation on the Cocoa Livelihoods Program-CLP, African Cocoa Initiative-ACI, Climate Smart Cocoa-CSC, and other projects before assuming his current position with the Finance & Operations Team.
Prior to joining WCF in 2017, Emmanuel worked with the Ghana Armed Forces and Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he performed finance and accounting-related duties. He also served as a volunteer for The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana in 2013/14 to assist national efforts aimed at improving the socio-economic and political lives of the general population and advocacy for initiatives that promote educational and other programs aimed at responsible family life.
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast-Ghana and a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from the Accra Technical University-Ghana. He is currently with the Institute of Chartered Accountant, Ghana, ICAG for his professional course.
