Silvia A

Silvia is a 37-year-old cocoa farmer from Apartado, Colombia with three kids.  Currently, she has six hectares of cocoa in production and two new hectares in process. Her cocoa crop is certified as organic and ROC (Regenerative Agriculture). She is part of the programme "Asombrate", a Solidaridad Network program, designed to promote sustainability in coffee and cocoa production. It gives small producers the possibility of selling the carbon sequestration of their crops in international markets as carbon credits.
