Director, West Africa, International Justice Mission (IJM)
Anita Budu is the Director of West Africa, at International Justice Mission (IJM). She has over fifteen years of experience in child protection and service provision for vulnerable populations. Anita leads a team of advocacy, law enforcement, social work, and legal specialists dedicated to building the capacity of government actors to effectively combat the unconditional worst forms of child labour.
IJM collaborates with government actors and other NGOs to strengthen justice systems and protect people from violence and exploitation, helping local authorities build a safe future that lasts.
Anita holds a bachelor’s degree in social psychology from Loughborough University, a master’s degree in social work from Middlesex University, and an executive MBA from the Open University.
