Brigitte has been involved in cocoa sustainability since 2013. She has over 20 years of experience in the food & retail sector. Within KPMG she leads ESG strategy and supply chain transformation projects, respecting EURD, CSRD and CSDDD requirements as well company specific ambitions. She has broad experience in upstream impact evaluations in a multi-stakeholder context for the public and private sector as well as cross functional projects.
Before joining KPMG Brigitte worked at UTZ Certified, responsible for partnerships with leading coffee, tea and cocoa companies, global retailers and trade partners to deploy their sustainable sourcing strategy and increase their impact. This included the development of projects in origin countries on themes like child labor remediation and living wage, delivered in close collaboration with partners in origin countries (Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya).
