Clive de Ruig

Clive de Ruig became President of ICE Benchmark Administration (“IBA”) in July 2022. IBA is the world’s most experienced administrator of regulated benchmarks and provider of other data services designed to ensure the smooth functioning of global commodity and financial markets. From 2017 to 2022, Clive was Chief Operating Officer of ICE Futures Europe, Europe’s largest futures exchange and home to futures and options contracts for crude oil, interest rates, equity derivatives, natural gas, power, coal, emissions and soft commodities. Clive has worked for ICE for almost 20 years, originally joining ICE Link, formerly known as T-Zero, at its launch in 2005. Clive led ICE Link from 2009, building it into the largest middleware service in Credit Default Swap processing. T-Zero was acquired by ICE through the 2008 acquisition of Creditex. Clive became Head of OTC Financial Sales for ICE and was involved in establishing the ICE Clear Credit businesses as the market-leading CDS clearing service. In 2016, Clive was Global Head of Cross Business Solutions at ICE, responsible for ensuring customer engagement across ICE services.
