Sustainability Program Officer, CEMOI Group
A young Ivorian woman, the youngest of eight siblings. After obtaining her scientific baccalaureate at the French high school in Lomé (Togo) she continued her studies in Canada and then in Morocco from where she graduated in Agri-Food Technology. Upon her return to Côte d'Ivoire, she joined the CEMOI group where she had already completed an internship years before. She holds the position of Sustainability Program Officer. As part of CEMOI's Cocoa Transparency program, she worked since her arrival on the implementation of the Partnerships For Forest project for the professionalization of producers and their cooperatives. This project focused on the environmental component of Transparency Cocoa, including deforestation and agroforestry issues. It is also the source of the pilot of the Targeted Education Programme (PEC) in partnership with the FondationJacobs and its TRECC programme, which has so far trained nearly 3000 teachers in a new pedagogical approach. She is currently leading the "Maison du Planteur", a concept for the appropriation of CEMOI's fermentation centres by the surrounding communities, through agro training, awareness-raising and various community development activities.
