Jean-Dominique Bescond

Jean-Dominique is a senior private sector specialist at the Climate Change Unit of the World Bank. He is leading the development of private sector strategies in the FCPF & ISFL portfolio, with the objectives to crowd in private investment and reinforce synergies among sustainable landscapes management programs. He has 15+ years of professional experience working with agribusiness companies, mainly in Western and Central Africa, focusing on sustainable production and sourcing of commodities in forestry, cocoa and climate change sectors. He holds a Master of Science degree in environmental management of tropical forest ecosystems from ENGREF in Montpellier, France.
