Senior Agricultural Economist, World Bank Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
Jeanne Coulibaly Oyolola is an agricultural economist who has been working at the World Bank in Abidjan office, Côte d’Ivoire, since 2018. She works on the bank’s agriculture portfolio and sustainable development sector, including the design and implementation of strategies, and operations to promote cocoa sustainability and reduce deforestation. Prior to that, Jeanne worked as a research scientist for the World Agroforestry Center, in Kenya, as a climate change adaptation specialist, where she authored and co-authored several research publications.
She started her career at the Ministry of Agriculture in 2001 in the area of projects planning and implementation and since then has been working with various government, research, and development organizations in Africa. Jeanne holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, USA.
