Justin Sherrard

Justin Sherrard is responsible for the timely and agenda-setting analysis of the issues creating opportunity and risk in animal protein supply chains around the world. His work is directed at challenging current thinking about the growth of future animal protein supply chains. Justin advises leaders in companies managing animal protein inputs, production, processing and distribution on emerging investment opportunities and risks from the change drivers that are shaping markets and growth. He routinely meets leading animal protein companies and industry groups around the world, to build and to refine his knowledge and views of what is creating and what is destroying value along animal protein supply chains. He is also Secretary/Treasurer of the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, and is now in his fifth year as a member of the Executive Committee, having previously served on GRSB’s Board of Directors.Justin leads a team of 14 analysts spanning the globe, and publishes widely-followed research covering developments with all the major animal protein species. He has been based in the Netherlands for over a decade, and previously worked with Rabobank in Australia and New Zealand.
