Social Development Manager, World Cocoa Foundation
Prisca Ayema is the WCF Social Development Manager based in Côte d'Ivoire.
As part of WCF's work to accelerate community development, she supports the coordination of WCF's social development initiatives, maps and strengthens internal capacity on community development in WCF member companies, ensures that sound standards resulting from collective learning are available and encouraged, and assists in the creation of new partnerships.
Prisca graduated as an Agricultural Engineer from the National Higher School of Agronomy (INPHB/ESA) in Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire, Prisca has more than five years of experience in cocoa farming and community development in Côte d'Ivoire where she was an active Cocoa Swollen Shoot Disease fighter while working for ANADER from 2015 to 2017. Prior to joining WCF, Prisca worked with CARE to support agronomic activities for the cocoa projects teams and to manage the Family Business Management Training in VSLA members’ households for a women's empowerment project.
