Renske Aarnoudse

Renske Aarnoudse is the Cocoa Programme Director at IDH, overseeing the cocoa programme implemented in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon and Europe. Through convening and co-creation, IDH works with a wide range of cocoa sector stakeholders to drive systems change on living income, environment and gender.

Renske is a dedicated professional in agricultural development, motivated to create alliances for scalable solutions for today’s challenges in international value chains. Renske has worked in cocoa in West Africa and Europe diving into the complex dynamics around the environment, farmer livelihoods and trade practices. Renske holds an MSc in Sustainable Development in Agriculture.
