Schneider has a master's degree in quality and comprehensive management, a meritorious thesis, a specialist in occupational health management and an industrial engineer. Likewise, he has received training in national occupational health and safety programmes and systems from the Turin International Center and in participatory training methodologies oriented to action of the ILO (WIND and WISE).
He led the process of implementing the public policy of the SG-SST Occupational Health and Safety Management System from the Ministry of Labour of Colombia and is the author of the book 'Occupational Health and Safety Management', a practical manual for the implementation of minimum standards.
He has participated as a national and international speaker and teacher on occupational health and safety. He is currently linked to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as National Coordinator and OSH focal point for the Andean countries (Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela and Ecuador).
