Wisdom Tahn Konwuruk is a seasoned development professional with over nine years of experience in the agricultural sector of Ghana. He specializes in project design and management, partnership management, policy analysis, climate-smart agriculture, agricultural value chain analysis, safe pesticide handling and application, agri-financial inclusion models and facilitating trainings.
Before joining the WCF Ghana team, Wisdom served as the Senior Agriculture Advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands
in Accra. In this role, he led the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Nature of the Netherlands and Ghana's Ministry of Food and Agriculture, focusing on transforming Ghana’s cocoa and horticultural sectors.
Previously, Wisdom worked as an Agriculture Advisor for the SNV Netherlands Development Organisation on the EU-funded GrEEn Project. He also served as Regional Technical Advisor for the Green Innovation Center Project, funded by GIZ, and as an Agricultural Production Officer on USAID’s ADVANCE II Project.
Wisdom holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Renewable Natural Resources from the University for Development Studies
